OK, I really need some opinions about this photo. I grabbed this magazine to sift through because I still get these free. Don't get me wrong, this little girl I'm sure is really cute... But does she have a TON of makeup on???
I think they even did her eyebrows! I'm not trying to say she's freaky.
BUT... it's just WRONG!
I'd love to hear your thoughts on this one!

I'll tell you what's wrong with this magazine cover: putting makeup on a toddler is horrible, disturbing, revolting and quite frankly, un-American. Do you think that women working in sewing factories in early industrial America were wearing clown makeup? I don'think so girlfriend! Rise up natural women - go out into the world with your children - fresh faced and spunky!
I was at the doctors office and saw this magazine and was disgusted/amazed. I could not believe how freaky this "dolled" up kid looked. I showed it to my wife who was equally incredulous.
I can't believe any self respecting mother would allow their child to be poked and proded like a beauty pageant daughter. This child looks like a doll, and that's not a compliment, I say shame on the mother and the publication!!! No wonder little girls in this country are so confused. I don't even wear make up and I'm a grown woman and mother myself.
I've been a nanny for birth-6yr olds for 10 years, now I'm pregnant with my first. I've always been against this kind of stuff. I don't even encourage nail painting. I hate the mini skirts the put these little girls in. Why? Two reasons, lets not encourage child molesters. And they have plenty of time to grow up, let's not encourage it. That's how you end up with 14yr old mothers.
